- User-Provided Project Data: When you capture your workspace, mark light sources (windows, lamps, etc.), and arrange stationery and ornaments on your canvas, we store the photos you upload, your custom layout configurations, light source settings, and all project edits you create. This is your private design data, accessible only by you unless you choose to share it.
- Contact Information: If you reach out to our support team for help, we collect your email address and any information you share in your correspondence to resolve your request.
- Automatic Usage Data: We collect non-identifiable usage data to improve our service, including device type, operating system, app performance, and which features you interact with most. This data helps us refine our photorealistic rendering and day-long light simulation for all users.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to deliver and improve the Deskscape experience, specifically for:
- Generating your custom photorealistic canvas and simulating how sunlight and lamplight transform your desk across the day-long timeline
- Saving, storing, and syncing your custom desk layouts, so you can revisit, adjust, and refine your designs anytime to find the perfect display position for every beloved object
- Improving our light mapping algorithms, layout suggestions, and overall service performance
- Responding to your support requests and troubleshooting issues
- Detecting and preventing security threats or unauthorized use of our service
Sharing Your Information
We never sell, rent, or share your personal project data (including your workspace photos and custom layouts) with third parties for commercial purposes. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:
